Athena Career Academy’s practical nursing program progresses over 12 months at a full-time pace. Aside from the modules above, the school teaches fundamentals of nursing, professional transitions, and IV therapy. Upon completion, you may take the NCLEX-PN to work in a range of healthcare settings.

Admission Requirements:

Proof of AHA BLS- Healthcare Provider CPR
A physical exam signed and dated no longer ago than one year prior
Drug screen no later than 90 days prior
Provide all immunizations records: Tetanus, and/or Titers, PPD or CSR (one year limit), MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, and flu
Health records by first day of class
BCI and FBI criminal background check and fingerprinting, no longer than 90 days before start
