Originally established in 1916, Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC) is a public technical college in downtown Denver. EGTC offers an 43.5 semester credit LPN program that’s available to students during daytime working hours as well as evening hours. Students who opt for the daytime option can complete the program in as little as 11 months, while those who enroll in the evening program can finish in 18 months. Pickens Technical College (PTC) is a public technical and vocational college located in Aurora, a city in the Denver metropolitan area. PTC offers a 43 semester credit LPN program that’s composed of a total of 855 clock hours. Students who enroll in the program can generally complete their studies in as little as two semesters. During the program’s duration, students will take courses like Basic Assessment for the PN, Pharmacology, Mental Health, Pediatric Nursing, and Geriatric Nursing, among others.
