Becoming an LPN in Toledo

Last Updated/Verified: May 27, 2022

The city of Toledo has one college offering practical nursing training for students. Practical nursing is a wise career choice at present as through the 2020s, projections for nursing growth are much higher than average job growth due to an aging population.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) publishes reports every two years on the situation for each industry operating in the U.S. The most recent report from 2021 concluded that 1,880 practical nurses were operating in Toledo. That’s 20% of the city’s total nurses.

Full-time, students typically complete an LPN program in 12-15 months, while part-time progress is over 24-30 months.
